LakeHealth Foundation Cookie Drive — All Month Long!

All money raised during the month will go to support the Safe Sleep initiative at Lake Health Center. It supplies safe cribs, sleepware, and education to new mothers and has reduced the incidence of infant deaths while sleeping. Events include all cookie sales from the cafeteria would be directed to the Twelve Months of November, plus change-collectors celebrating Mort November will be at all checkout areas, and more.

Cooking for a Cure at the Cleveland Museum of Art
Event for the CWRU School of Medicine and the Young Scientist Foundation. This is an exclusive chef-to-table food and wine experience featuring gourmet dishes and wine pairings from nationally and internationally renowned chefs. Proceeds from the dinner and auction will help Cleveland area, under-served high-school students discover their passion for science by providing a buddy-system between the students and mentors in a laboratory setting at CWRU. This opportunity would not be possible without support from the Young Scientist Foundation.

Mort's Menagerie — Providence House Playground Dedication
Opening Ceremony and Pizza Party for Mort's Menagerie, an outdoor creative play area for at-risk children. Providence House is a crisis nursery, provides emergency shelter and care for children (newborn to age 10) who are at risk for abuse or neglect due to family crisis.
